Afrobeats also know as "the experience of a people" or "happy sound" is the soul, heart, power and spirituality of a once carefree and happy people, lost during the over 400 years of thieft, oppression and abuse through the unholy act of slavery.

The sound that is consuming the world was invented in Nigeria by Nigerian music trailbrazer Fela Kuti. In the late 1960s when everyone in Nigeria was experimenting to recreate the "ancestral happy sound", Fela Kuti who was a political activist and musician experimented with different contemporary music of the time by infusing and diffusing a variety of genres such as highlife, fuji and juju as well as different Nigerian dialect including pigeon english, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa and other traditions, rhythm and instruments to create what would later be known as Afrobeats.
